Four, three, two... One! The movie is already in the can and you will play your part the best you can. Although the fate is unclear, you're relaxed. No need to fight somebody since it all goes fine. Integration (love, love, love, love) is the key (love, love, love, love). Wherever you're at peace there're stars shining on your way night or day. Just be cool (woooo) and no one hurts you. It's all (love, love, love, love) about you, can you see? For ain't (love, love, love, love) nobody else. The movie is already in the can and anything you do's alredy done. So let those tears away and have much fun.

See What's Up / The Movie Is Already In The Can: a double flare streaking through the torrid, dark earthly night.

In keeping with the change of season, Beev Rations begins the summer period energetically, warming up the atmosphere and also the consciences with a double single (the fourth in their discography), in a proposal that is both activist and reflective in content, as well as rocky and southern in form, presenting two approaches or visions -different but complementary- about the complex and challenging world of today.

The cover of this double single -which evokes an iconic film scene- already puts us in situation without beating around the bush, being as raw, sharp and direct as the lyrics and the sound of the songs, starting with See What's Up, an indie/alt rockabilly tune where the incisive, overwhelming and continuous references and insights of current events will not leave anyone indifferent. On the other hand, they could arouse in the listener a greater decantation about the chosen path, whichever it may be. This is even more amplified by watching the official video of this song, also published on the premiere day.

The B-Side, on the other hand, does represent also the flip side about the way of seeing things. The Movie Is Already In The Can (with a marked USA southern sound), takes distance from the hubbub and broadens the perspective, from a philosophical but eminently practical framework too. Indeed, we do not know the infinite number of variables that are part of events and, by the same token, these events are for the most part unpredictable. However, as with the billions of stars that make up a galaxy, the chaotic appearance of life on Earth does not contradict the fact of the order involved that keeps everything in balance and in constant change...

Is that mere speculation or mostly a fact? If that's a fact (and it's up to you to discern it), then, assuming and integrating this can make a difference in our usual attitude and state of mind. And that would be well worth an attentive and active listening to this musical and consciential Beev Rations flare, no? Have a happy (and lucid) summer.
