The Spritles is a virtual band created by Alan James as an alter-ego group from Beev Rations that, by the way, is a (we could say) one-man band (isn't this looping the loop?). The Spritles is also the name of his second EP (march 2019), which features six songs: Your inner sprite, Something about love, Mushrooms #8, Still the same, The way I like, We can have fun.

Now, The Beach Boys were five members, The Beatles four (like the Mamas and the Papas), two The Everly Brothers, one Beev Rations and, then, The Spritles are -they say- three (as the Bee Gees classic lineup), being musically an elvish (presleysh?) blend of all those major influences and several others, together with essences (and substances) of Doo-wop, C&W, R&B, Blues, Folk and Psychedelia, always with that own alternative, playful and rascal spirit of Alan James.

For The Spritles have an unique sound and style. Cadence, harmony, liveliness, exuberance, elegance, emotion and charm are hallmarks of that sound, both in voices and in instrumental arrangements. Because The Spritles, in the end, are just themselves.

Indeed, the lore says about The Spritles that these fabulous creatures, who can modulate their voices and appearances at will, come from the coster town of Loverpool (where else) and they are, in fact, beach sprites (no kidding). So, I mean, come on... who could ask for more? Enjoy now this magic, thrilling and wonderful music, that goes right straight to your soul.
