Present-Day Music Wild Rooted: indie timeless Rock to awake the hearts
Beev Rations' eighth EP -whose rock sounds as authentic, natural, assertive and indie as its title and cover clearly indicate-, consists of five tracks, three of which are new: Life (Sovereign & True), Bye Mind Reader and For Once Really. Closing the album are two songs from their most recent double-single, remastered for the occasion: See What's Up, The Movie Is Already In The Can.
Within a marked Roots Rock sound, the songs each show a distinctive style that, when alternated, is refreshing and pleasing to the ear. Thus, we have the Jazz-Blues Rock fusion (Life), a Cosmic American Music style ballad with a great psychedelic touch (Bye Mind Reader), another ballad with a modern soft rock sound (For Once Really), the Alt-Rockabilly of See What's Up and, finally, the Southern Rock of The Movie Is Already In The Can.
Now, why the album tittle? A music is current when it is made today, when it comes from the heart of the artist and resonates with the hearts of the listeners, whether they are 4 or 4 million, and regardless of the genres or styles and, of course, the fashions imposed by those who run the music industry from their dark offices, fulfilling agendas of suppression and mind control of the human being.
In its day Rock & Roll (later evolved into Rock) fulfilled these agendas of social engineering to shape society to the interests of its controllers. To do this they had to use as a starting point the popular music that then existed, what is known as the (black and white) roots of Rock (Blues, Country & Western, Jazz, Rithm & Blues, Godspell, etc) to give rise to a new musical (and social) movement that was powerful and revolutionary, capable of catalyzing and contributing to new changes in civilization. Thus, in the mid fifties of the twentieth century, Rock was born.
And being its musical roots of unquestionable purity, nobility or musical quality, that Rock quickly became a classic. Classic is a term that also means timeless. Something classic, in music, sounded good long ago, sounds good now and will continue to sound good for centuries to come.
And, particularly today, in the midst of the pretended globalist-transhumanist dystopia, this wild and rooted Rock, vibrates in an empowering and defiant, inspiring way; bursting into the mediocre current environment of alienation, as it once did in the midst of a conservatism and cultural caking that neither benefited the people nor interested its controllers. Obviously, in no way are they interested today in the authentic, noble and creative energy and sounds of timeless rock. Lest it awaken the sleeping hearts...
