Little Prince Inside, Salute 2022 connecting with the trueness of your inner child

In the very start of the new year here it comes a fresh proposal from Beev Rations, in every aspect (music, lyrics, image, message), because this unusual one-man-band never repeats itself.

Within the alternative, indie and rooted nature of his music, this time Alan James mixes most of all Jazz, Folk and Country textures with psychedelia and that lovely sixties pop-rock charm, to express the beauty of the relationship one can develope with his/her true self, usually recognizable in what is known nowadays as the inner child. Here the direct reference to the famous character created by Antoine Saint-Exupéry is something almost everybody can relate with. But Alan James -as an awareness researcher, not just musician- aims beyond with this song about our inner little prince. (And yes, the kid featured in the single cover art is Alan, although we don’t know the rest of the tiny star people).

This intimate, pure, spontaneous and natural version or essence of ourselves let us to connect with Life itself in all its integrity, making arise in our hearts the unconditional love, which begins from one self.
But do not let the cliches or prejudges fool you. This love -although sweet and tender- is not a squeamish or prudish or sissy thing at all, but integral, wild and -in fact- indomitable, as nature itself. If your mature enough to get it you’ll perceive it clearly through the song and specially if you watch the whole official video.

The notes of Somewhere Over The Rainbow, a wink that we can appreciate in the enigmatic intro, speaks lots of the insondable and endless universe within us. And this can never be controlled, nothing and nobody can controll it. Like the neverending curiosity, creativity and energy of your inner child. Lets play without fear in this final hour of global darkness. Light always dissipates the shadows. Life always prevails.
