ASS IT COMES: it’s all your own dream anyway

The opening theme from Beev Rations‘ new EP, Squirrel voice, features a pun in its very title and shows a perspective on those unexpected and apparently random events that could however have full sense from a higher view or instance of ours. Heartfelt vocals fall like a cascade wrapped in a powerful blend of thrilling Indie Psyfolk-Rock and Cosmic Americana, the very rooted, psychedelic and doowoopper sound that only Alan James destiles.

And in the same sudden way spring is already here, seeing the double release of Squirrel Voice and Ass It Comes. From basic recordings made in 2018, of Alan James singing and accompanying himself on acoustic guitar, this time the chance arrived for this song, now with the rest of the instrumentation (and «the Squirrel» also) added in 2023. The official video is released today on YouTube too, beautifuly reflecting the vibes of this theme, with outstanding and colorful footage.
