In line with recent short films by Alan James, Beev Rations is coming strong this summer with a new warrior song (months after The Tipping Point), in the most conscious and proactive sense of the term, also putting another twist on their rooted sound, the flavor of which is now more genuinely American than ever; nothing to do -by the way- with cigarettes or alienation, but with the opposite: health and freedom. In addition, a powerful official video makes this proposal even more interesting.
"Daydream" revolves around collective mental programming (deliberately limiting) and the effective way in which we can, as individuals and collectively, neutralize such manipulation and begin to regain control of our lives at all levels; and this begins simply by turning off the television.
The enormous power (hopefully not for long) of the mass media can only be fully understood if we look at the equivalent transfer of power by the majority of people to those media and to all kinds of so-called authorities, who by Their continuous (also flagrant today) abuse and contempt for human rights are clearly illegitimate for those who today -every day more people- have become aware of their intrinsic dignity and integrity as people.
The clarity and forcefulness of the lyrics -direct, raw and without concessions-, goes hand in hand with the voices and the entire instrumental track of the song, highlighting the claw of the guitars and the novel incorporation of a metal wind section that brings harmony and freshness with its bright and joyful sound. All of which makes Daydream an energizing Roots Rock delight with flavorful hints of Jazz, Country and Blues, plus the alternative and psychedelic overtones common to Beev Rations music.
Now, those who listen carefully to what Alan says while singing, possibly they will perceive or glimpse (if they have not already done so) that this world war (this time between Humanity itself and its controllers), is not being fought with bullets in any territory, but through information/disinformation in the field of the individual/ collective mind and, even more profoundly, it is a conflict of frequencies, where your vibration will contribute, to one degree or another, to the outcome, whatever it may be.
But if you daydream and focus constructively, putting your attention and feeding what you love, you will undoubtedly be collaborating with the most favorable result possible. It is not a chimera, because you already feel it in your heart and you see it in your conscience. Now it is about bringing it to manifestation among all of us who have decided to live in peace, freedom and joy.
lyrics
I know you're sick
of the shit they say on TV
and curse the fucking sold doctor
praising vaccine.
Yes, at this point is so clear
if one can see
that all this crisis was planned
for control and genocide.
A hybrid war.
But if you take your time
and find what makes you
feel alright,
soon you will see
the nightmare turned up a good dream.
Daydream...
Daydream...
Then when you change your view,
a new path shows better ways to do.
And you see
the nightmare turned up a good dream.
Slide your dial to tune
in things you love.
Once said Yazhi Swaruu,
what you see on your mind
it is real.
