Mead Feelings: at first so tasty, then so bitter and, finally, a treasure in awareness.

The single version of the fourth cut of Crooner, new and 7th EP from Beev Rations, feautures some changes in the intro, outro and overall sound, enhancing the ambient and warmth quality of this heartfelf ballad, which highligts are, without a doubt, the overwhelming and doo-wopesque combination of voices, all wrapped in that atmospheric -country tinged- cosmic americana sound.

Like Who Cares?, the jazzy second song of Crooner, Mead Feelings is about processing the loss of an old epic love, by seeing things with a perspective modified through time and awareness. In the end, one can understand that all experiences are indeed soul matters and, then, anything can’t really be taken personally -with the consequent suffering involved-, because we definitely are not the characters we are playing in this Life Theatre (and this our multidimensional nature was in fact seen in the previous song, Monolog).

Ultimately, it is needed to let go everything that was putting excesive weight on our shoulders, preventing us for living new and richer experiences aswell. Those old mead feelings certainly could be very tasty and unforgetable, but life is still ahead and we can restart at everypoint of our journy, making way to taste fresher flavours… now being wiser and kinder than before.
